More Civics

 

Nothing to do with the post, but isn't she cute?

Deborah was every inch the neighborhood leader presiding at her first Barcroft School and Civic League meeting.  She has them on Zoom, a wise decision, and it went very well, thanks largely to the vice president (Daniel Weir) who handled the technical aspects.  She's on the board of Tree Stewards and participated in that remotely as well.  She's also taking calls for six to nine hours a week from people all over Virginia to help them find out how to cast their ballot this election, and has delivered Democratic literature.  (I've watched some old movies, so are we even?)  Below is Deborah's desk, where the meeting and call magic happens.  She likes the view--she can keep tabs on her bird feeder.
